“ 5 stars for the service! I came with my partner during lunch time to see that the tables were busy but the male waitress was very friendly and accommodating to let us sit in the other section which was quiet. Food itself was delicious. We had absolutely amazing chicken snitzchel shaped in heart. Will come back! ”
“ The second stop of the walking food tour led by Bonnie of Wake up Reykjavik! We had the ‘liquid death,’ fermented shark, and arctic char. 10/10 all around! I wish they sold arctic char in more parts of the world just like salmon because it’s so much lighter. The restaurant was convivial and we all enjoyed this stop. ”

“ A really lovely restaurant! I pre booked this restaurant for our group of 7 on a Saturday night as I liked the menu. The staff are very welcoming and super helpful. Nikki was our server and she was so lovely, warm, and chatty with us. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was excellent, I would definitely recommend the shellfish soup and fish and chips. The only thing to note is that the bar closes at 10 so last orders are just before. ”

The baked cheese and the lamb shank were both to die for, and we were really happy with our choices. The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, even for a Sunday night, and the staff were all warm and friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially the lamb shank! ”
“ The vibe of this place was top notch! We loved how cozy yet modern it was. The coktails were trendy but delish and what really was amazing was the food! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the artic char was light and healthy! My husband went with fish and chips which had this Icelandic twist on it which was perfection! They have a secrets kids menu which my kids really enjoyed…they got protein in which as you know is tough! It was not frozen chicken nuggets and fries…it was all so fresh! Last but not least was the kind service we got! We loved this place and highly recommend if you have kids or not! ”
“ The food here is delicious. As are the drinks. Our server was polite, extremely helpful, and funny. We ordered the fish special of the day and the fish and chips. Both good portions and very well prepared. For a starter, the burrata, which was fantastic. Drinks were the basil gimlet (delicious) and a mocktail with passion fruit and other juices. Highly recommend a visit. ”
